The Sri Lanka National Youth Chess Championship 2024 successfully concluded on 30th December 2024, after four days of intense competition from 27th to 30th December. Organized by the Chess Federation of Sri Lanka, the event attracted the country’s brightest young chess talents. Competitions were held across six age categories — Under 07, 09, 11, 13, 15, and 17 — in both Open and Girls’ divisions.
This prestigious event not only provided a platform for young players to showcase their strategic prowess but also highlighted the rising stars of Sri Lankan chess. The championship crowned winners who demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and composure under pressure.
